Hello! Join Denver Urban Gardens at our volunteer workday at our new food forest at Lake Middle School! During the workday we will be breaking ground at our new site, and preparing the land for planting. This may include digging, moving mulch with wheel barrows and other labor intensive activities.
Please wear:
- Closed toe shoes
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Layers/sun protection
Please bring:
- Reusable water bottle
- Gardening gloves
All of the needed tools, materials and light snacks will be provided. Please arrive with ample time to find parking and the food forest, we will begin promptly at 9:00am. We can't wait to see you there!
