Please come help the tree keepers at Fairmont Food Forest spread some mulch! Mulch helps the soil retain water while suppressing weeds, keeping our fledgling fruit trees and bushes healthy.
We’ll have wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, and a load of mulch ready to get distributed. Please remember to bring work gloves, water, and snacks (if desired).
The food forest is located at Fairmont DCIS elementary school, on 3rd and Elati (north side of the playground).
