Build beauty in our community meeting area: Our new picnic table classroom is incomplete and needs a cardboard weed blocker with wood chips. You can give us a hand with layering the cardboard so no cracks show and move wood chips off a truck and into the garden with wheelbarrows. In between loads of wood chips being shuttled from pick up to drop off, we will have planters to fill with soil and perennials to plant.
We will provide cardboard, wood chips, ice cold water, soil, perennials, and instruction.
Please bring gloves (our loaners are limited) and a water bottle. Dress appropriately and wear closed-toed shoes.
