June Workday THEME: Tomato Planting & Pruning
Saturday June 8: 8-10am
The next monthly garden workday is scheduled for June 8th. At this workday, we will offer a workshop on tomato planting and pruning. These community workdays are a great way to connect with other gardeners, meet folks from other teams, and share in completing garden projects.
We will also focus on any unfinished projects (filling the tall beds and fabric grow bags with potting mix & soil) and weeding the garden common areas, including BINDWEED DUTY, and weed trenching the outer perimeter fence.
WORKDAY NOTES: Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Closed toe garden shoes/boots. Garden gloves. Wear sun protection (hat/sunglasses/sunscreen).
Bring your own drinking water.
