Description
Join us in cleaning up the garden perennial beds and preparing the pathways for a fresh layer of new crushed granite to help with weed control.
We’ll have several tons of crushed granite delivered that will need to be moved and spread around the garden.
9am to ~4pm with a break for lunch
What to bring:
- Reusable water bottle
- Gloves (if you have some, if not we’ll provide them)
- Sunscreen and hat
- Sunglasses
- Hard rake or a wheelbarrow (if you have one available)
What to wear:
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
- Closed-toe shoes
- Sun protection: Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen etc.
- Layers, layers, layers!
Garden will provide:
- Materials, tools and instructions
- Water and snacks
- Break for lunch
- Music
- Restroom use will require check in at the school front desk
