Help the Vista Peak Community Garden with garden projects get their garden ready for the season. We'll be doing things like organizing the shed, getting hoses out, organizing leaves, getting pots ready to plant, and more!
Please meet the workday leader at the community garden, located at:
Vista Peak Preparatory Community Garden
24500 E 6th Ave., Aurora CO 80018
What to bring:
- Water
- Garden gloves (if you have some, otherwise we can provide them)
- Snacks (you can leave if you’d like, but we are far from places to eat, the closest gas station is 7-11 about a mile away)
What to wear:
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
- Closed-toe shoes
- Sun protection: Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.
- Layers, layers, layers!
Other things to note:
- There are porta-potties close to the garden
- Garden leaders will provide tools and instructions
- We do not have access to the school
- There is no shade in the garden
