Your chance to volunteer at the beautiful Fairmont DCIS Community Garden! We are a community garden on the grounds of the Fairmont DCIS campus with over 20 community garden plots and dedicated schoolside garden plots. In 2025, DUG recently installed a beautiful therapeutic sensor garden for the students. Please come and help us take care of this community resource!
Our workdays on weekdays this season are:
August 12th from 6 pm - 8 pm
September 9th from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
October 7th from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
We are able to provide gloves and tools needed to volunteer. Please bring your own sunscreen and water. There are not on-site restrooms but a public restroom is available at La Familia Recreation Center a few blocks away. Please email fairmontdciscommunitygarden@dug.org if you have questions.
