Help us give the garden a midsummer refresh! July is all about tackling weeds, and we’re looking for volunteers who don’t mind getting their hands dirty and digging deep to pull weeds from the roots—not just giving them a haircut.
We’ll be working from 8:00–10:00 a.m. While it’s an early start, July mornings can heat up quickly, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing, bring gardening gloves, and don’t forget a water bottle.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just looking to spend a couple of hours outdoors helping your community, we’d love to have you join us!
The entrance to the garden is at the corner of 24th Ave & Lafayette St. There is ample parking on both 24th and Lafayette
