Glenbrook FF Meadow Restoration & Garden Workday

Come restore a meadow with us! Denver Urban Gardens staff & Glenbrook Garden Leaders are working together to return the adjacent open space to native short grass prairie. During the work day we will be laying down plastic to solarize and kill invasive weeds to make room for native flower seeds--supporting pollinators and gardeners alike! Tasks may include digging/trenching, staking, weeding, and other routine garden tasks that support the site. Bring water, gloves, close toed shoes, kneeling pads (if needed), and clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
