Join DUG's education team to support our Fire Cider for the Fall Equinox Workshop in our Urban Herbalism series. This workshop begins promptly at 6:00pm, but please arrive an hour early at 5:00pm to assist with set up.
Please note that this workshop will take place at the Posner Center for International Development.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Set up/clean up
- Checking in attendees & welcoming guests
- Tech support and facilitator assistance (e.g. handing out materials)
- Photographing the workshop
- Supporting instructor in the kitchen
- Food prep - washing and cutting vegetables
- Washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen
- Check out/assisting with exit surveys
You will also have the opportunity to sit in during the workshop and learn the content while offering your support. Once the workshop is concluded at 8:00pm, you will support with clean up and any "check out" processes. Clean up/check out should take less than an hour, and your volunteer shift will end by 9:00pm.
