Join DUG's education team to support our DIY Herbal Tinctures with Medicinal Plants Workshop in our Urban Herbalism series. The workshop begins promptly at 6:00pm, but please arrive an hour early at 5:00pm to assist with set up.
Please note that this workshop will be held at the Posner Center for International Development.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Set up/clean up
- Checking in attendees & welcoming guests
- Kitchen: restocking snacks, coffee & tea stations
- Tech support & facilitator assistance (eg. handing out materials)
- Photography
- Guest engagement and activity support
- Washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen
- Check out/assisting with exit surveys
You will also have the opportunity to sit in during the workshop and learn the content while offering your support. Once the workshop concludes at 8:00pm, you will support with clean uo and any "check out" processes. Clean up/check out should take less than an hour, and your volunteer shift will end by 9:00pm.
