We have a preschool garden that has some new metal raised beds to install. We'd love your help!
This project will require some physical labor to do the following:
- Move the dirt out of existing beds
- Take apart the existing wooden beds
- Place the new metal beds
- Install weed cloth around any newly exposed ground
- Move the dirt back into the new beds
- Rake the existing gravel into place around the new beds
Please bring/wear:
- Gloves if you have them (we do have an assortment of gloves you can borrow)
- Weather appropriate clothing in layers
- Shoes that can get dirty
- Sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, etc)
- Refillable water bottle (water jug for refills will be available)
We'll get as much done as we can in a couple hours. Many hands make light work, so please join us if you need a good spring workout!
