Hello! We need some last-minute help finishing a retaining wall project for our new community garden in Martinez Park. Tasks will include placing stone blocks, moving road base material, and tamping down loose soil.
Please wear:
- Close toed shoes
- Layers/sun protection
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
DUG will provide all of the needed tools/materials, as well as light snacks and a water jug (bring a reusable water bottle). Please arrive with ample time to find parking and check in, we will begin orientation promptly at 9:00am. We can't wait to see you in the garden.
