Jardin de Esperanza/ Garden of Hope at Maxwell Elementary is in serious need of some hope. The job would entail pulling lots and lots of weeds from garden beds and pathways. Along with placing black plastic over the weeds on the garden beds to help deter weeds from coming back.
What to wear:
- Long sleeves are encouraged
- Shoes that can get dirty and covered in stickers
- Thick gloves
- Sun protection
What to bring:
- Your favorite weeding tool
- Reusable water bottle
There are no bathrooms on site (at this time). Come and help as much as you are able and help bring hope back to this garden!
