WOODCHIPS!
Greenway received a chipdrop of woodchips for our newly planted food forest. And we need some help moving them off the road into the orchard.
Join Josh, Greenway Tree Keeper, this Sunday from 8am-10am to move the pile and learn more about the species of trees that are part of this new addition to our garden space!
Sunday June 1, 8am-10am at Greenway Garden, 7790 East 23rd Avenue in Denver's Central Park neighborhood. Street parking available. Nearest restroom - porta potties at the tennis courts on Spruce St or in the Greenway playground.
TOOLS: We use wheelbarrows and buckets to transport wood chips into the food forest area.
To BRING: Personal water bottle, sunscreen, wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, a bandana or mask (to protect yourself from any dust, a hat. Gloves (optional) - will be provided.
