Join Us for a Garden Beautification Day! We’ll be improving our community garden space by removing litter, weeding pathways, and revitalizing our compost system by chopping and adding plant material.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Gardening gloves
- A hat, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle
- Snacks (if you have allergies or food preferences)
We are a relatively small community garden with 14 plots and 1 (newly dedicated) donation plot! We are piloting a donation program this season and selected Project Worthmore as our donation organization via Fresh Food Connect App. Many of our gardeners are over the age of 65 and/or have chronic health conditions that impact garden maintenance activities... however, it does not deter us from community gardening! We are diverse in culture, thought, experiences, the food we choose to grow, and even down to the methods in which we grow our food.
