Thank you for signing up to volunteer during DUG's Grow a Garden distribution week. As a Grow a Garden volunteer you will be stationed at one of the 18 distribution sites across the Denver Metro Area. During your shift you will be asked to care for plants, organize kits, and distribute supplies for food production. You'll need to check the order roster, collect the right plants, and give out DUG's printed educational materials.
Please wear:
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- A DUG t-shirt if you have one
Please bring:
- A water bottle
- An activity like a book if the shift is slow
- Anything else you might need during your shift!
A week before your shift you will be sent additional information and instructions. Please keep a close eye on your email. With your help, families in Denver will grow thousands of pounds of fresh, local food this season! NOTE: You must be 18 years of age to volunteer for Grow a Garden.
