Hello! During the workday we will be preparing the compost bins for the upcoming season and conducting some general maintenance in our new Food Forest. Tasks may include sifting and moving compost, generating bedding to add to the worm bin, pulling weeds and other physical tasks (moving wheelbarrows, shoveling soil).
Please wear:
- Close toed shoes
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Layers/sun protection/rain coat/hat *weather protection
Bring a reusable water bottle and gardening gloves! The garden will provide all of the needed tools and materials. Please arrive with ample time to find street parking and check in, we will begin orientation promptly at 8:30am.
