Thank you for volunteering with Denver Urban Gardens! During the workday we will be breaking ground at the new Food Forest at Cedar Park. Tasks may include creating tree basins using hand tools, moving mulch/compost via wheel barrows and other physical tasks. The forecast for the morning is chilly, dress appropriately for the weather. We highly recommend layers, boots and a water proof outer layer.
Please wear:
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Clothes toed shoes
- Layers/sun protection
The weather is looking chilly, make sure to wear appropriate clothing. Bring a reusable water bottle! DUG will provide all of the needed tools and materials, as well as light snacks. Please arrive with ample time to find parking and check in. We will begin promptly at 10:00am. We can't wait to see you there!
