Come and get your hands in the dirt, meet your neighbors and help get your neighborhood garden ready to plant!! Tasks may include garden maintenance, cutting back and working in winter cover crops, adding compost and hand-tilling so plots are ready for planting in 2025.
Please wear:
- Closed-toed shoes
- Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Layers/sun protection
Please bring:
- Gloves
- Reusable water bottle
We will have extra water on site and we will provide refreshments near the end of the workday. Please bring any garden rakes, garden forks, round shovels, garden buckets, and weeders you may have. We will have tape and markers for you to put your initials on your tools so they don’t get lost in the shuffle. We appreciate your help getting OUR neighborhood community garden ready for Spring!
