During our Garden Prep - Clean Up Day, we will be clearing out old plots and their previous years vegetation in preparation! Pulled plants will be moved to our composting bins. We will also be prepping our compost for our first Garden Workday. In addition to cleaning plots, we will be cleaning out the shed and re-organizing what we have collected. This includes our tools, gardening supplies and going through our seed collection.
Please wear:
- Close toed shoes
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Layers/sun protection
Please bring:
- Reusable water bottle
- Gardening gloves
- (Optional) Gardening tools - please label your tools!
There are port-o-potties in the parking lot, curtesy of Parks and Rec. We will provide a light breakfast for volunteers, as well as a water cooler. We can't wait to see you there!
