During the workday we will be breaking ground at the new Food Forest at Cedar Park. Tasks may include creating tree basins using hand tools, moving mulch with wheel barrows, and other physical tasks. The forecast for the day is looking chilly, please dress appropriately for the weather. We highly recommend layers, boots and a water proof outer layer.
Please wear:
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Clothes toed shoes
- Layers/sun protection
Bring a reusable water bottle! DUG will provide all of the needed tools and materials, as well as light snacks. Please arrive with ample time to find parking and check in. We will begin orientation promptly at 1:00pm, and want to get moving. We can't wait to see you there!
