Update: Our deepest apologies for the delay in getting back to you. The Colorado’s spring weather has been rough on our minds and bodies.
If you are still available and willing to assist us this Saturday May 3rd starting at 9:30am-1:30pm. To wake up the Garden, we would be most grateful.
We are the Juanita Nolasco garden club made up of elderly and disabled gardeners who need YOUR help to wake up the garden after the winter.
Today we will be waking up the garden by tilling in compost and other organic material into the garden beds. This is a day we need strong bodies who can do heavy lifting.
We will have some activities and tasks that do not require having lifting. Such as bringing out tools and materials from the winter home.
Be advised this is outside.
It is still spring here in Colorado so there is a chance of sun to snow and everything in between. Dressing in layers is highly recommended.
We do have some garden gloves available. However, it dose not hurt to bring your own.
If the weather is not cooperating we will put out a cancel notice by Friday, May 2nd no later than 7 PM.
Garden club will make sure to have plenty of water and we will provide lunch.
