Volunteer: Wheat Ridge Food Forest Monthly Volunteer EventThe food forest is in need of routine site upkeep, weeding, and watering. We will mulch in the spring (May) and fall (Oct/Nov). Show up whenever you can between 5-7pm on the first Wednesday of every month. Meet at the covered pavilion picnic tables at 5pm, then we will move to the food forest down the sidewalk to the east of the pavilion. Bring work gloves, drinking water, and sunscreen. Equipment will be provided. Dress in layers for sun protection and comfort. Please wear close toed shoes. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.
