Volunteer: 2nd Saturday at Nome Park Community Garden2nd Saturday of the Month | Nome Park Community Garden Join us for our monthly General Garden Care Workday, where many small tasks come together to keep the garden healthy, organized, and welcoming for everyone. This is a hands-on, flexible workday with a variety of chores that support the entire garden. Volunteers can jump in where they feel most comfortable and switch tasks as needed. Typical tasks may include: Weeding and tidying common areas Pathway maintenance Compost management Tool and shed organization Light infrastructure upkeep Seasonal garden tasks as needed No special skills are required—just a willingness to help and work as a team. This is a great opportunity for new members to learn how the garden functions and for returning members to contribute to shared care.
