Volunteer: Jan 24 - Worm Bin Workshop Support

Join DUG’s education team for hands-on support at Wiggly Worms: Caring for Your Worm Bin, an all ages workshop in our Composting Series. The workshop begins promptly at 10:00 AM, but please arrive an hour early at 9:00am to assist with set up. 

This workshop will be held at the Posner Center for International Development.

Your responsibilities may include:

Set up/clean up Checking in attendees & welcoming guestsKitchen: restocking snacks, coffee & tea stationsTech support & facilitator assistance (eg. handing out materials)Assisting parents, children, and attendees with workshop tasks and activitiesAnswering general questions about composting, worm bin careCheck out/assisting with exit surveys 

Once the workshop concludes at 12:00 PM, you will support with clean up and any "check out" processes. Clean up should take about 45 minutes - 1 hour, and your volunteer shift will end by 1:00 PM
