Volunteer: Tree Planting @ Glenbrook Community Garden

During the workday we will be planting trees at the new Glenbrook Community Garden. Tasks may include digging holes, moving mulch/compost with wheel barrows, planting trees and other physical tasks. 

Please wear:

Close toed shoesClothes you don't mind getting dirtyLayers/sun protection 

Please bring a reusable water bottle! DUG will provide all of the needed tools/materials, as well as light snacks. Arrive with ample time to find parking and check in, we will begin orientation promptly at 9:00am. We can't wait to see you there!

Please note that we kindly ask volunteers to commit to the full duration of their scheduled shift. This ensures participation in the orientation and allows our team to adequately prepare the necessary tools and materials. If you are unable to attend the entire three-hour shift, we ask that you refrain from signing up. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Volunteer: Wheat Ridge Food Forest Monthly Volunteer Event

The food forest is in need of routine site upkeep, weeding, and watering.  We will mulch in the spring (May) and fall (Oct/Nov).

Show up whenever you can between 5-7pm on the first Wednesday of every month.

Meet at the covered pavilion picnic tables at 5pm, then we will move to the food forest down the sidewalk to the east of the pavilion.

Bring work gloves, drinking water, and sunscreen. Equipment will be provided.

Dress in layers for sun protection and comfort. Please wear close toed shoes.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.
