Volunteer: Fairmont Weekend WorkdaysYour chance to volunteer at the beautiful Fairmont DCIS Community Garden! We are a community garden on the grounds of the Fairmont DCIS campus with over 20 community garden plots and dedicated schoolside garden plots. In 2025, DUG recently installed a beautiful therapeutic sensor garden for the students. Please come and help us take care of this community resource! Our workdays on weekends this season are: June 7th from 9:30 am - 11:30 am July 19th from 9:30 am - 11:30 am August 16th from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm September 13th from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm October 4th from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm We are able to provide gloves and tools needed to volunteer. Please bring your own sunscreen and water. There are not on-site restrooms but a public restroom is available at La Familia Recreation Center a few blocks away.
